About Us

We founded Phantom Bat Works with the goal of adding to the art of baseball while also focusing on improving the technology.

A wooden baseball bat is perhaps one of the most simplistically beautiful structures in all of sports. Its basis in an organic material, the grain, the iconic shape and the special sound it makes on impact. It is the personal extension of the athlete, rarely seen in other sports. And to this iconic simplistic beauty, we saw an opportunity to add and bring a batter’s personality to it.

Phantom Bat Works was founded by a bat craftsman with over 16 years in the business and an orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience operating on and caring for sports injuries. The union brings together a unique look and blend of years of craftsmanship with a unique knowledge of the human body and injury prevention. Our goal from day one has been to add to the art of baseball not only in unique looks to the bat, but increased performance and decreasing injuries.
