All Phantom Bat Works bats will undergo our trade secret radiographic evaluation. We will always start with pro-grade, hand-split billets of maple. From there our assessment certifies a bat to be clean of all defects, growth abnormalities and best growth ring and radial characteristics.

Our evaluation process, allows us to define the one best hitting surface of that bat and make sure the batter swings with the correct orientation.

Our trade secret preparation of the bat provides a more durable and harder hitting surface. Our internal studies show that this preparation yields 2.1% increase in bat-ball exit velocity.
